Airfix adds Falcon 2000EX for Russian missions
Airfix Aviation has added a Falcon 2000EX to its fleet. The company, based in Finland, will manage the aircraft for a private owner. Markku Roschier, Airfix md, told EBAN: “We are expecting to fly 50 per cent of its flights and the owner will fly the rest. The budget we are making is based on 600 hours of total flight time per year. The flight profile will be based around Eastern Europe and Russia — our typical operations today.

“But of course the extended

range will definitely make some

more routes to longer distance destinations possible.”

The aircraft will arrive at Airfix’s Helsinki facility in July to join its existing fleet, which consists of a Citation X, Citation Excel, King Air C90, Learjet 45, Merlin III, Falcon 900EX and another Falcon 2000.

“Customers at the moment are mostly interested in the Citation

Excel and the Falcon 2000,” said Roschier. “The Falcon 2000 is a comfortable aircraft and the reliability is quite amazing.”
