Ravenair and Liverpool Aviation Services have started work on a £950,000 development of phase two of their Business Aviation Centre at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Ravenair moved its air charter and flying school operations from Manchester Airport in 1998 to a temporary site at the Liverpool Airport, employing 12 staff.

the airport, vip passenger
lounge, kitchen, conference and operational support.
The extension of the facilities will double the capacity of hangarage and office accommodation available.
Ravenair and LAS currently employ 40 staff and additional new posts are expected to be created at the airport as a result of this next phase of the company’s expansion .
Ravenair provides flying training, aircraft charter and aircraft engineering support while its sister company Liverpool Aviation
Services provides executive aircraft and cargo handling, aircraft
charter brokerage service and refuelling on behalf of Shell
Aviation for large and small aircraft
at the airport.
Andy Gower, director of airport operations for Liverpool John Lennon Airport said: “Liverpool John Lennon Airport is delighted that Ravenair and Liverpool Aviation Services are investing further in their business at the airport.
“We have been very impressed with the quality of service they offer to customers and these additional facilities should ensure that they continue to make Liverpool John Lennon the first choice airport for a growing number of general and business aviation users.”
