Jet Aviation’s completions centre in Basel, Switzerland, is preparing to outfit a Boeing 767 for a private customer. The aircraft, the third of its type of be outfitted at the facility, arrived in Basel in December 2003.
The customer had ordered the construction of a mock-up of the interior of the aircraft prior to outfitting, in order to get a better impression of the space configuration. Jet Aviation Basel’s cabinetry shop designed and manufactured the full-scale model of the interior out of plywood and polystyrene within six weeks.
