Aerofair’s success has grown in recent years, especially since its expansion on to the whole of the airfield for the first time in 2003.

Among the aircraft and products making their UK debut will be the long-haul TBM 700C2, which will be presented by Air Touring, the distributors for Socata.

Cirrus Design is bringing the SR22 G2, the updated version of the SR22, which features a six-point engine mount and a redesigned cabin

door. Safety improvements include

a bevelled firewall with

improved crash-worthiness and an integral roll-cage.

Visitors to Diamond Aircraft’s stand will have the opportunity to see the Star DA40D and the new DA42 Twin Star.

Bournemouth-based Meridian Aviation will have one of the largest aircraft displays at the show. Meridian will be displaying a range of aircraft from New Piper Aircraft and Swiss-based Pilatus, as they are the UK, Ireland and Spanish distributors for both companies.

The Piper aircraft on display will include the Meridian, Mirage, Saragota, Archer and the Seneca V, which features a twin engine.

Jeff Carr, Meridian’s md, is confident of the show’s success. “Aerofair is the UK’s best showcase

for general aviation, which is why

we are so committed to supporting the exhibition,” he said. “This

year the Pilatus PC12 will demonstrate its sleek lines and speed that are becoming favoured

by businessmen.”

Meridian sold over £17.1 million worth of new aircraft last year, making the company the top-selling distributor for Piper outside the US.
