Said a spokesman: “We strive

to offer the latest safety and operational improvement technology through factory engineered

service bulletins. All Cessna service bulletin installations are designed to integrate seamlessly with the Citation avionics architecture.

Cessna service bulletins include all required components, wiring, and hardware; are completely documented in Citation service manuals; and are fully supported

by the worldwide Citation service centre network.

Meanwhile, the company will release runway awareness and advisory system (RAAS) service bulletins for in-service Citation X, Excel, Ultra, Encore and Bravos in the third quarter of 2004.

Said Ron Chapman, senior vice president of customer service: “This system tells customers where

their aircraft is on runways and taxiways, which will reduce the risk of runway incursions.”

RAAS service bulletins feature software upgrades for Citation aircraft equipped with Honeywell Mark V & VII enhanced ground proximity warning systems.

RAAS is designed to provide improved situational awareness to help lower the probability of runway incursions.
