Avcraft has responded to some negative predictions in the Press, regarding its efforts within the aviation community and its new Dornier 328JET programme.

Ceo of the company Ben Bartel said: “We successfully completed refinancing of the company to provide adequate working capital as well as securing the capital structure to restart manufacturing the 328JET.

“Our drive to provide outstanding service to our customers has led us to identify all reliability issues on

the aircraft and find solutions to these problems,” he continued. “We believe all service issues will

be completed no later than June of this year.”

He reports that they have completed the acquisition of all 328 parts from M7 Aerospace in San Antonio, Texas. Avcraft is no longer involved with that company and this provides Avcraft with worldwide ownership and control of those parts.

“Subsequently, we signed a

three-phase agreement with BAe Systems last month to handle

our parts warehousing and distribution in North America,” Bartel said. “We have also announced that we are opening a state-of-the-art US completion and maintenance facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,” he explained.

“All non-airline interior completions will be done at this location as well as all scheduled heavy maintenance for the 328 fleet. This is another large step in our programme to ensure boundless service to our customer base.”

Last week, Avcraft revealed the restart of 328JET production in Germany and reports that it will be delivering the first new-build aircraft late in this year’s third quarter.
