The French helicopter association, groupement Francais de l’helicoptere (GFH), has become the latest national helicopter association to support the International Heli Trade event, which takes place in Geneva from October 5-7, 2004.

Announcing the association’s endorsement of the event at a

recent trade meeting of members at the Aeroclub de France in Paris,

GFH president Gerard David

said: “International Heli Trade is not only a showcase for the

European helicopter business but creates an international crossroads between Europe, the US and the rest of the world.

To coincide with the GFH announcement, organisers have appointed Aviaxess in Paris as representatives of the show in France. Based at the heliport de Paris, Aviaxess provides a European helicopter and jet timeshare programme, aircraft sales, aircraft management and pilot training.

Its founder and chief executive, Frederic Aguettant, has a long-established background in the helicopter business.
