TUI Northern Europe has agreed to take control of Coventry Airport.
The company hopes to develop the airport in conjunction with all the regional stockholders into a successful business and an asset for both the Midlands region and TUI.
The airport will be managed on behalf of TUI by a new team of specialists, all of whom have had experience of managing airports in the UK.
TUI recognises there have been issues to date and intends to give them immediate attention. It also plans to work ensuring that the airport is both sympathetic to local residents requirements and complies with all regulations.
