Jet Aviation’s FBOs in Zurich and Geneva are offering same-day on-demand print versions from NewspaperDirect’s catalogue of titles to its international business travellers. Based on the customer’s request or the flight destination, Jet Aviation selects an assortment of different newspaper titles that are printed and delivered to the passenger onboard prior to departure.

The tiles offered range from the Wall Street Journal or Financial Times to Al Ittihad, Al Hayat, Al-Jazirah or Asharq Al-Awsat. The newspapers are exact reproductions of the original printed editions, delivered in a more portable format – usually an 11 inch by 17 inch (A3) format.

“This new service is value-added and has been greatly received by our international customers,” said Robert Whitehead, private aircraft handling manager at the company’s Zurich FBO. “Local newspapers, especially from the Middle East, are either difficult to find outside their original market or outdated.

“With the broad range of titles and the guarantee of same-day copies, our customers can receive

the latest news from their country while travelling.”
