Diamond opens production centre to meet Twin Star demand
Christian Dries, ceo of Diamond Aircraft Industries, has opened the new Diamond Composite production centre in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. The plant was erected on an area of 10,900 square metres. High demand for the twin-engine four-seater DA42 Twin Star and single-jet five-seat D-JET – which is now under development – led the firm to construct new production facilities and to expand these sectors of its operations to meet the demand.
