David Best has been named managing director Europe for Signature Flight Support. Operating from the aviation service company’s base at London Luton Airport in the UK, Best will focus on growing and expanding Signature’s FBO network throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Best has also been tapped to sit on the board of Signature’s joint venture in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Signature, Best was responsible for creating an FBO network in Europe and was involved in numerous acquisition and joint venture activities. He has also served as commercial director – Execair and as group business development manager for the Menzies Aviation Group, UK.

Best is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in business administration.
