Pilatus reports strong demand for PC-12
Pilatus Aircraft has reported strong demand for its flagship PC-12 single engine business turboprop. “We delivered 61 PC-12s in 2003,” said vp and chief marketing officer Tom Aniello. “This is actually six more aircraft than we forecast in September, and represents a 35 per cent increase relative to Pilatus’ sales in 2002. “In addition, we’re beginning to see the government and special missions market come alive in response to the introduction of the PC-12 Spectre last summer.” Meanwhile, the company has announced that the warranty period for all Honeywell avionics installed on a new PC-12 has been extended from two years to three.
