Multiflight, the FBO and executive jet charter company based at Leeds/Bradford International Airport, has confirmed a capital investment of over £8 million.
The company says this investment will provide for the construction of two new hangar facilities and a corporate aviation lounge with luxury facilities for guests and crew. The new barrel vaulted hangars will cover 6,300 square metres and will enable Multiflight to house four BBJ2s.
Part of the investment will also provide a newly completed ramp and dedicated taxiway on the south side of the airport, which has been designated as the business aviation terminal by the airport authority.
This investment is in addition to the company’s recent purchase of a new Boeing BBJ2.
Also planned is a dedicated FBO terminal operated by Multiflight. This building will be adjacent to the new hangar/ramp complex and is due to be operational by early 2004.
