Ibis Aerospace, manufacturer of the Ae270 propjet, has gathered the largest assembly to date of vendors, distributors and key personnel. Meetings were held with designers and engineers to review technical details, and distributors were given demo flights in a conforming prototype and a production line tour. Ibis is planning for certification of the Ae270 by the CAA of the Czech Republic by the end of 2003.

FAA certification will follow in the first quarter of 2004. Initial aircraft deliveries will take place in the second quarter of 2004.
