Meridian Aviation, the Bournemouth-based UK, Ireland and Spanish distributor for Piper and Pilatus aircraft, has donated and installed £8,000 worth of new navigation equipment to the only airworthy Boeing B17G Flying Fortress in the UK.

The B17, known as Sally B, was flown to Bournemouth by Andrew Dixon, the company’s chief pilot, who also regularly flies many of the UK’s historic aircraft. Sally B has had a number of TV and film roles, including ‘Memphis Belle’.
