McKechnie Aerospace’s Electro-mechanical Group says its synchronised flap actuator system has been successfully tested on Eclipse Aviation’s Eclipse 500 jet. Previous to this first series of tests, the aircraft had flown in a fixed flap position. The system was designed in close collaboration with Eclipse’s engineers.
