ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.

Air Charter Guide (ACG) has announced CharterXtra, a system that purports to enable corporate travel managers to offer easy and convenient online booking of pay-per-use charter for business travellers.
CharterXtra is integrated within existing systems, providing access to ACG’s database of charter operators and aircraft and enabling users to compare price and convenience between airline, corporate fleet and charter options.
“The technology and information are in place to make charter as accessible as any other business travel option,” said Meara McLaughlin, vp online services. “With increased demand from business and corporate travellers, we think charter could see the same explosive growth as the airlines experienced when the SABRE system was introduced in the 1960s.”\r
CharterXtra is sold on an annual licence basis to corporate travel management companies, corporate travel departments, and online travel agencies. It will be available from mid-April, 2003.
