Corporate Rotable & Supply has had the A3 579-000, STC/PMA generator approved for use on Lear 35, 36 and 55 aircraft. The company has also surpassed the current Bendix generator scheduled removal of 1,050 hours and is continuing on its way to the 3,000 TBO.
The first two generators were recently installed on a Lear 35 owned and operated by BankAir Commuter Airlines.
Over thirty generators have been sold and are flying to date, with the fleet accumulating above 11,000 total hours. CRS president Armando Leighton said: “It has been a long time coming but the results have made it worth the wait. We believe that the investment value for this generator will translate to hourly cost savings, increased reliability and be viewed as an aircraft enhancement for resale.”
