The addition of a Falcon 900EX to Unijet’s fleet last year has proved extremely popular with clients, according to charter sales representative Caroline Bellocq. The Le Bourget-based company, which will also be adding two CJ2s in the summer, has generally been chartering the aircraft to a mixture of businessmen involved in politics and the European banking sector.
“The aircraft was bought brand new, with an interior especially crafted for its owner (one of our shareholders). It replaced a 900B and offers a slightly longer range along with a brighter and more modern interior. It can also carry a maximum of 14 passengers,” said Bellocq.
Flights have tended to be a mixture of long and short range according to Bellocq. “We’ve already flown to the US, Asia and Africa, along with trips around Europe – in France and particularly to Italy.”
Le Bourget is one of the best known GA airports in Europe. “It’s the perfect place to operate this type of aircraft. We’re significantly closer to Paris than Charles de Gaulle and it’s easy to arrive here and be ready to board within five minutes,” she added.
