A small aircraft research project has been initiated through the UK’s General Aviation Awareness Council. It is receiving financial support from the Department for Transport. Its intention is to probe the economic realities of small airfields and the relationship between individual aerodromes and their local authorities. The pilot question-naire is on the internet and qualified general pilots living in the UK are kindly requested to spare a little time to complete it at http://www.gaac.co.uk/survey.
