A GV has set two city-pair world speed records between North America and Asia. The National Aeronautic Association recognised both world-record flights for ‘speed over a recognised course’ between the following cities.
The flight from Nashville to Tokyo took 13 hours and 41 minutes at 483.85 mph, while the flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles took eight hours and 27 minutes at 643.86 mph.
Piloting the GV was Captain Sean Sheldon with Ahmed Ragheb and John Mullican serving as co-pilots.
