Bombardier has recently delivered its one hundredth Global Express to Allen Stanford, chairman and president of Stanford Financial Group of Houston, Texas. The aircraft features a top cruise speed of Mach 0.89, requiring slightly more than a 5,800-foot runway for takeoff at its maximum takeoff weight of 95,000 pounds. It can also land at runways under 2,700-feet at its maximum landing weight of 78,600 pounds. A total of 91 aircraft are currently in service.
