Jet Aviation Biggin Hill has been

named one of the best start-up

companies in the South London area

by Bromley Borough Chamber of

Commerce. The award recognised the

company’s contribution towards

helping the area to become one of the

most successful business

communities in the United Kingdom.

The award was presented by

Councillor Catherine Rideout, acting

for the Mayor of London Borough of

Bromley and Richard Lane OBE,

president of the Bromley Borough

Chamber of Commerce on November

11, 2003 at the Metropolitan Police

Social Club at Hayes, Kent.

Stephan Koss, senior vice

president and general manager of Jet

Aviation Biggin Hill said: “We are very

proud of this award which was issued

for the first time. Since opening in

2001, we have not only generated

considerable business in the South

London area but have also created

additional jobs.”

During the last four months, the

company reports a 20 per cent

increase in FBO handling activities.

“The recent increase of aircraft

movements in and around London

had a positive effect on business

aviation at Biggin Hill,” said Koss.
