The UK’s Fly BN has introduced a
software system called AeroTrac to
ensure total control of assets, stock,
replacement ordering and aircraft
maintenance and repair schedule.
AeroTrac is a PC-based system
designed for MROs. Fly BN says that it
allows it to offer faster turn-round
times, accurate and tight control of
costs and spares holdings, improved
levels of service and commitment and
a full technical records service for
aircraft. The customer can see
what work is scheduled and the
parts and labour required to carry out
the work. The system has been
developed by Tracware, an Isle of
Wight computer company.
