Jet Centre reports uplift in business
The London City Airport Jet Centre has reported a 75 per cent uplift in business for the fourth quarter of 2003 compared to the same period in 2002. Richard Gooding, managing director of London City Airport/Jet Centre said: “Our success has been largely driven by the increased value associated within business aviation, which has become integral to the global economy.” Jet Centre manager, Darren Grover said: “Our location to date has guaranteed success as we are only two miles from the new business district of Canary Wharf and six miles from the city centre. We believe we will be handling over 7,000 movements a year by 2010.”
