The FAA has granted Cessna Aircraft
Company a provisional type
certificate for the model 680 Citation
Sovereign. Cessna anticipates full
type certificate on this model in the
first quarter of 2004.
Flight-testing has resulted in
upgrades to the aircraft’s
performance. The Sovereign has a top
speed of Mach 0.80, a maximum nonstop
range of 3,040 nautical miles and
total cabin volume of 620 cubicfeet.
First customer deliveries are
expected in mid-2004.
