ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
The European Helicopter Association
EHA) is to support International Heli
Trade, which takes place at Geneva
Palexpo and Geneva International
Airport on October 5 - 7, 2004.
For the association, International
Heli Trade provides a pan-European
platform on which to promote
its primary objectives of encouraging
public acceptance of the helicopter
and developing realistic regulations
and air-worthiness standards
across Europe.
Commenting on the association’s
involvement with the event, EHA
chief executive Jan-Willem Stuurman
emphasises the importance of
communication between Europe’s
helicopter operators as well as with
the legislative and regulatory bodies
that govern the business.
International Heli Trade is a great
opportunity for helicopter operators
to meet with their counterparts
from other countries to look at what
other opportunities there might be to
work together to grow their
businesses,” he said.
“It’s also the place to share
their views with the association and
with the regulatory authorities. The
EHA is pleased to support this
important event for Europe’s
helicopter business.”
As well as an exhibition, helicopter
display and air demonstrations, the
event will host a series of seminars,
workshops and summits at which
European helicopter operators will
discuss a variety of regulatory and
technical issues.
Event director Moira Edwards
welcomes the support of the EHA:
“We are delighted that the EHA
is involved in the event and will
be working closely with them and
the operators and suppliers who
are their members, to make sure
that International Heli Trade is a
topical and exciting showcase for
the helicopter business.” Potential
