Embraer Legacy certified in Russia
Embraer says its Legacy corporate jet, as well as the models of the ERJ 145 family, have been granted type certification by the Interstate Aviation Committee, the Russian regulatory agency responsible for airworthiness and environmental requirements. With this certification, these aircraft can be registered in Russia or in any of the twelve member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

“This certification represents another important step towards the global presence of our Legacy aircraft, following the good track record of its older brother ERJ 145,” said Frederico Fleury Curado, Embraer’s executive vice president, civil aircraft. “CIS is indeed an important market and we are keen to expand our presence there.”
