French operator Blue Line is awaiting the arrival of two MD-83s which the company is adding to its fleet. One is due in December and the other in April, 2004.
The aircraft will have leather seat configurations for both vip and commercial operations. Said a spokesperson: “We are proposing configurations ‘à la carte’ with two curtains, thereby allowing a tri-class version for example.
Blue Line currently operates two Fokker 100s with three cabin configurations. In the corporate version, the aircraft operate with 52 black leather seats.
The spokesperson added: “Our customers using the vip service and 52-seat configurations are mostly presidents or ceos with their associates. We also do plenty of work for artists like singers and actors, and their staff. The service has also been used by personalities celebrating their birthday and recently, Blue Line operated a nice flight for an important TV French channel which had invited all its advertisers.”
Blue Line says most of its employees come from business aviation.
