The first Bombardier Challenger 300 flight simulator has been awarded FAA Level C certification three months before it enters into service. The approval was granted by FAA officials following a final inspection of the simulator at the Bombardier Aerospace training centre at Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport.
Bombardier says Transport Canada Level C certification is expected shortly and European JAA Level C certification will occur early next year. The simulator is expected to receive Level D certification from the FAA next year.
