The Max-Viz EVS system made its PC-12 debut at the Pilatus NBAA display and will be offered as an option on future aircraft.
Pilatus says the system uses uncooled, long-wave infrared sensors to gather data about runways, terrain, taxiways, aircraft and any potential obstacles on the ground or in flight. These images are enhanced, relayed and displayed on a multifunction display in the cockpit.
