Cessna has improved the range of its Citation Sovereign from 2,820nm to 3,040nm and its speed from .78 to .80 Mach. What’s more, Sovereign operators will be able to climb to altitude faster, with times one to three minutes better than originally published.

Currently under certification flight-testing, Cessna anticipates Sovereign type certification later this year. First customer deliveries are scheduled for early 2004. The company has so far received approximately 100 Sovereign orders.
