Germany’s Private Wings has been extremely busy since May, operating a shuttle service for Volkswagen with the aid of a Dornier 328-110. Equipped with the standard 32 seats, toilet and APU, the aircraft makes four trips per day from Ingolstadt near Munich to Braunshweig.

Said managing director Andreas Wagner: “It’s a really good contract, which has been keeping us really busy and has been extended into next year. The only day of the week it is not used for VW, we fly it for tourist purposes.”

Private Wings also operates two Beech 1900Ds, a Beech 350 with a nine-seat executive and 12-seat commuter modification and a Lear 35 which is equipped for medevac missions. The company has stations in Berlin Schönefeld, Ingolstadt and Braunshweig and says it has no plans to add more aircraft at the present time.
