Airborne product support aircraft clocks up 200 missions
The Gulfstream airborne product support dedicated Gulfstream G100 business aircraft has completed its 200th flight, 16 months after the programme was launched.

The Gulfstream airborne product support dedicated Gulfstream G100 business aircraft has completed its 200th flight, 16 months after the programme was launched.

The programme is designed to assist warrantied customers by flying parts or technicians to aircraft that are unexpectedly grounded in the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and US, in places where commercial methods of transportation are not readily available. The G100 is also used to transport parts and technicians to major hubs to connect with international commercial flights to assist overseas customers.

Larry Flynn, president, product support, Gulfstream said: “Created to minimise the time our customers spend on the ground waiting for parts or technicians, our airborne product support remains the only service of this type offered by a business aircraft manufacturer.”
