Hertfordshire-based team www.air-rescuetek.com has raised over £3,000 for UK air ambulances by climbing a total of three summits in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours on September 13-14 2003. The team climbed over 10,000 feet in 23 hours and 54 minutes.
Funds raised will be donated to the UK’s Air Ambulance Foundation, a registered charity.
“Air ambulance services in England are funded by charitable donations. Every air ambulance mission costs around £1,000 and we hope that we can help to ensure that these vital services keep operating,” said Sara Waddington of www.air-rescuetek.com
