Cessna has rolled-out its first Citation Sovereign assembled on the production line, serial number 0003. It says that the first Sovereign will be delivered in early 2004, once certification is completed in the fourth quarter of 2003. The three aircraft in the certification flight test programme have accumulated over 1,600 hours.

At the roll-out ceremony, Brad Thress, Cessna’s vice president of quality, thanked the team members for their hard work and dedication and said that more than 100 orders have been taken for the aircraft.
