Seventeen-year-old George George, son of Sloane Helicopters’ chairman David George, has become the youngest person in the UK to have ever held a helicopter pilot’s licence.

The CAA issued it to coincide with his 17th birthday. He also flew solo for the first time on his 16th birthday, thereby setting another record.
