MedAire provides emergency physician advice from within its hospital-based global response centre. The centre, which can be contacted from anywhere around the world using an aircraft’s existing communications system, also coordinates ground-based medical resources to manage patient care on the ground.

National Air Services’ flight crew will receive both initial and recurrent training in MedAire’s Management of Inflight Illness and Injury course.  In addition to teaching flight crew how to recognise and manage medical emergencies, the course also fulfils requirements for CPR and AED certification.
