NAC Aviation supplies B200 to Royal Air Force
The King Air B200 will be introduced to the Royal Air Force for pilot training as part of the RAF Cranwell multi-activity contract and multi-engine pilot training interim solution, awarded to Serco Group. Seven new aircraft will be purchased from NAC Aviation, the exclusive distributor for Beechcraft in the UK. This UK Ministry of Defence contract is valued at £60 million over five years, with options for three one-year contract extensions. The first aircraft deliveries will commence in the first quarter of 2004.
