Visionaire Corporation’s intellectual property for its Vantage and Spirit aircraft is being offered for sale by its bankruptcy trustee. The Vantage is a six-seat, single engine, business class jet; the Spirit a two-seat experimental aircraft designed to appeal to the small business and recreational markets.

According to Visionaire, the Vantage intellectual property that is being sold is the result of more than eight years of research and five years’ design analysis and refinement.

The Vantage targets a gap in the general aviation market between high-end piston-driven and turboprop propeller aircraft and more expensive light-class business jet aircraft.

The deadline for submitting a bid is September 18, 2003.
