Flexjet customers able to adjust hours, if needs be
Bombardier Flexjet has introduced an enhancement to its fractional jet ownership programme, known as Versatility Plus.

Bombardier Flexjet has introduced an enhancement to its fractional jet ownership programme, known as Versatility Plus.

Michael McQuay, president, Bombardier Flexjet said: “This new benefit enables owners to exchange hours among themselves. It gives Flexjet owners easy access to additional hours and the opportunity to realise value from unused hours.”

Bombardier says with Versatility Plus, owners can adjust the number of flight hours required as their needs change. They may be able to place or draw up to 25 per cent of their annual allocated hours each year in the pool.

Owners may contribute unused flight hours or request additional hours through the programme. Bombardier then matches up the requests to place and draw hours on a first come, first served basis. The owner that placed the hours in the pool receives a credit on his or her account once another owner requests and draws the hours.

If an owner of a one eighth share, for example, needs less than the entitled 100 annual allocated hours, he or she can contribute up to 25 hours to the pool each year.

McQuay said: “The response from Flexjet owners has been extremely positive, both for realising value from unused hours and for drawing additional hours from the pool.

“While we cannot guarantee that any hours placed in the pool will be drawn, this gives owners an option they won’t find with any other programme.”
