A business and vip charter company, Capital Trading Aviation, has launched a base at Cardiff International Airport. Using a fleet of eight aircraft, with seating capacity of between five and eleven passengers, Capital Trading says it can fly anyone direct to their desired destination across the UK and Europe.
The company’s aircraft, which includes a new eight-seater King Air 200 turbo prop, are fitted with air conditioning, leather interiors, bar unit, CD/TV/video player, toilet facilities and a full catering service.
As well as business executive and vip charter, the company says it can also cater for TV crews, medial emergency patients and freight.
Capital Trading’s general manager Lisa Humphries said: “We decided to start a base at Cardiff Airport as it offers exactly the type of operational conditions we require.
“This combined with the growth of businesses and economic prosperity in Cardiff and South Wales, we are confident that there will be a growing demand for private charter services. Passengers will be able to travel in their own aircraft, at the times they require and direct to their destination, saving valuable time and money.”
Frank Moloney, chairman of Cardiff Chamber of Commerce said: “The decision by Capital Trading to locate here is testimony to the fact that South Wales has such a strong and diverse range of businesses to service.”
