Titan bucks trend with 757 delivery
London Stansted’s Titan Airways has taken delivery of a Boeing 757-200, to join its vip air charter fleet. The aircraft, which is leased from GECAS, has been configured to provide more space with 207 leather seats instead of the standard 235. Titan is also developing a 100-seat configuration whereby the aircraft can be changed to accommodate a vip four-abreast arrangement.

A spokesman said: “Our success is in marked contrast to the current state of the industry, which has forced many airlines to implement cost-cutting measures. Titan is bucking the trend and over the past

few months has recruited 36 new cabin crew, seven new flight deck members and has also expanded its operations team.”

The 757’s interior has been completely refurbished and passengers will be offered a variety

of inflight services including

vip menus, fine wines, entertainment, champagne, newspapers and magazines.

Titan’s commercial manager Alastair Kiernan added: “We already have a very busy schedule booked for the 757, which is enabling us to offer even more capacity to meet increasing market demands.”
