The 45th Paris Air Show will soon be upon us. The Le Bourget-based exhibition takes place between June 15 and 22. The 2003 show is introducing a new sector-by-sector content breakdown, offering exhibitors and visitors theme-based meeting areas and itineraries. Organisers say that business aviation will receive a sharper focus this year.

In 2001, there were 1,861 exhibitions from 42 countries and 226 aircraft in a static exhibition space of 192,000 square metres. Attendance figures reached 500,000 (including general public, trade visitors, press and exhibitors), and business announced during the show totalled 63 billion euros.

A spokesperson added: “This show will also place a strong emphasis on exhibitor and visitor services with an extended park, new access-ways,

bus station, taxi ranks, further improved vip facilities and assistance with hotel booking and transfers to the show.” Full details are on-line at http://www.paris-air-show.com
