Bombardier’s Challenger 300 has made its European debut, with an appearance at EBACE 2003 in Geneva. Aircraft s/n 20-004, the fourth of five aircraft in the Bombardier Challenger 300 flight test program, arrived at the show outfitted with an interior being used for validation of interior systems.
The aircraft is now in the final stages of an extensive flight and ground test programme that will result in type certification from Transport Canada.
It will be fully compliant with RVSM regulations.
Offering a 3,100 nautical mile range with eight passengers and with NBAA IFR reserves, it will enter corporate service later this year.
Developed following a two-year market research program, Bombardier says the aircraft is tailored to executives’ key requirements, providing a cost-effective step-up for current light and midsize jet operators.
It offers non-stop capability
from Geneva International
Airport throughout Europe, across the Atlantic Ocean, and into northern Africa.
