Cessna says it received several new orders at the third annual European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE). During the convention, contracts were signed
for two Citation Xs, one Citation CJ1, one Caravan and one 206 Turbo Stationair. Delivery of the aircraft will take place in 2003.
“We are extremely pleased with the outcome of EBACE. The attendance was good, and we had an excellent response from both prospects and our current customers,” said Cessna’s senior vice president of sales and marketing Roger Whyte.
“Although we are in the midst
of a sluggish economy, operators realise that aircraft are a necessity
for business because they help increase productivity. As the market improves, we expect more companies and individuals to take advantage
of general aviation’s many benefits,” he added.
Cessna aircraft on static display at the show included the Grand Caravan, Citation CJ1, Citation CJ2, Citation Bravo, Citation Encore, Citation Excel, and Citation X.
