Garmin International has been chosen to supply the Citation Mustang’s avionics. According to Cessna, the G1000 (Garmin’s integrated glass cockpit) will provide Mustang operators with a combination of technical capability, field reliability and customer support.

The panel configuration will include three glass displays, two 10-inch PFDs with a 15-inch MFD at the heart of the panel.

Cessna president Charlie Johnson said: “Because many of our customers are stepping up to the Mustang from single engine and turboprop aircraft, it’s essential that the system is easy to use.”
