ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
Marshall Aerospace, based at the UK’s Cambridge Airport, is launching a charter arm under the name of Marshall Executive Aviation. The company has put a Citation Bravo on its AOC and is also upgrading its corporate facilities. Marketing manager Glynis King told EBAN: “Up until now the Bravo has only been used for in-house corporate travel, which the company felt was an under-utilisation of the resource. The timing of this decision has mainly been due to a reshuffle within our directorship, which threw up the idea of chartering the aircraft.”
The company has only just acquired the AOC for the seven-seat Bravo but King revealed that there has already been a great deal of interest and several bookings. “Attaining the AOC was a relatively smooth procedure; we simply complied with what the CAA required and it went through. Since then our first few clients have mainly wanted to fly around Europe, to destinations including Sweden, Holland and France,” she said.
Marshall Executive Aviation will be based on the company’s site at Cambridge Airport, in a building recently vacated by its tenants. “It’s coincided very well for us, with this building becoming available. We’re now bringing it up to executive standards with facilities including a pilot rest area and a vip passenger lounge,’ said King.
The official launch day of Marshall Executive Aviation will be May 21. King added: “We’re now just getting our name out there and resurrecting old acquaintances.
We need to expand the customer base, but Cambridge is such a huge area that there is always a demand for charter.
