Jet Aviation Business Jets in Europe says it has become one of only two companies located in Zurich to receive approval to train pilots on business aircraft. The Swiss Federal Office for Civil Aviation (FOCA) recently certified Jet Aviation as a type-rating and training organisation to train pilots on Citation, Gulfstream, Challenger, Learjet, Falcon, Hawker and DC-8 business jets.
“With this certificate, we can now provide training to pilots who want to become type-rated on Citation 500, 525, 550, 560, 650 and 750 aircraft, GIV and GV aircraft, Challengers 600, 601 and 604, Learjet 20s, 30s, 55s and 60s, Falcon 50s and 900s, Hawker 125s and DC-8 aircraft,” said head of training Hans-Jörg Herzog.
The company’s type-rating courses include theory and flight training, in addition to instructor rating courses. Classes are open to captains and co-pilots with airline transport pilot or commercial pilot licences.
