PremiAir Aviation Group has purchased Signature Aircraft Engineering operations at Blackbushe and Denham, along with Signature Helicopters executive charter operation at Denham. The businesses, purchased from BBA Group PLC, will be combined with McAlpine Aviation Services’ existing operations to form an enlarged services group with combined annual sales of over £15 million.

PremiAir Aviation Ltd will be the brand of the merged activities of Signature Helicopters and McAlpine Aviation Services. Signature Aircraft Engineering, based at Blackbushe, will be rebranded as PremiAir Aircraft Engineering Ltd.

Also, from January 2003, Lynton Aviation Aircraft Sales (a division of the Signature network in Europe) will relocate to Signature’s Oxford Airport facility. The company is the UK sales representative for Sikorsky.
